Concentration during the execution of these paintings almost takes on a meditative quality, led me to think of the moment between exhalation and inhalation &#8211; a moment where one is alive but not breathing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These square pieces result in a flat optical surfaces that &#8216;breathe&#8217;, connected more to a thought than the particular resulting image.
